Sheila Louise Wright - Media & PR Coordinator
Sheila has lived in Abbotsford on and off for a total of 8 years and graduated High School at W.J.Mouat Sr. Sec in 1991. She has always been interested in history and wanted to become a Paleontologist, Archeologist & Anthropologist (all at the same time) when she was a kid. Instead, she went into Fine Arts (oh well), but still nutures her love of history by participating in various "living history" & "experimental archeology" groups such as Reik Felag (a Viking Age re-creation group) & the S.C.A (a medieval & Renaissance re-creation group). For fun, Sheila enjoys playing strange instruments such as the Anglo-Saxon Lyre & Rebec, some not so strange ones like piano and bass guitar, singing, painting, weaving, embroidery, making & editing films, scenic/art design for Theatre & Film, photography, writing, and sewing historical costumes. Sheila is the newest member of the MSA team and is thrilled for the opportunity to work at MSA Museum, using her best skills in art/design, desktop publishing, event planning and schmoozing, and to be allowed to join the MSA crew on this exciting ride into the "future history" of Abbotsford. |
