MSA Museum

Trethewey House, the Gardens, Grounds and other spaces may be rented for weddings, meetings, parties and all your special occasions.

Rental Rates and capacities are as follows:
(100 Chairs and a dozen tables are including in the rental price if needed)

Trethewey House (a fully furnished 1920s Bungalow style house) - 25 seated, 35 standing - $300/day
Carriage House / Heritage Gallery - 50 seated, 78 standing- $300/day
Grounds around Trethewey House - Unlimited - $300/day (includes Gazebo)
Gazebo only - $50 (Free with rental of the Grounds)
Joey's Playhouse (a 2 room building suitable for the Bridal party for changing etc.) - $25/day
Catering Kitchen (located in the basement of Trethewey House) - $50/day

Rental Packages available.
Hourly rates can also be negotiated for meetings etc. (usually at $25/hr)

Tents must be rented from off-site. Our Decorator (Cindy) can make suggestions for you.

A non-refundable deposit of $100 (or half of the total, whichever is less) is required at booking.

Photography at Trethewey House & Gardens:

Book Trethewey House Heritage Site for your special events and/or photographs! Our 1920s Arts & Crafts style Bungalow House, gazebo, rose arbour and memorial garden will provide the perfect backdrop for your memorable occasion. The beautiful setting will enhance weddings, family reunions, group picnics or any occasion requiring photos.

There is a $25/hr fee for use of Trethewey House, outside structures, grounds or any combination of the same as they are copywrited images.  These funds are used to maintain and improve both the site and the services provided by the Museum.

All sessions must be pre-booked in order to prevent conflicts with other events in the site.
